BISO launches Ultralight U800

Ultralight - and extra wide!

The new Ultralight 800 header from BISO Schrattenecker impresses not only with his working width of 12 meters. Beside the pure size the intention still offers a lot of the very interesting details which were not to be found up to now thus with crop headers yet.

At first sight above all the sparing spraying strikes with the BISO Ultralight 800 beside the size. Since apart from the yellow stalk divisors and the black side tins one sees only shining metal and black plastic.

With the metal it concerns, primarily, the aluminum-profile bodies 1.06 m wide in each case. They form the basic frame of the header, take up all hydraulic pipelines and electric pipelines and can be exchanged in case of need even individually. Also the move snail with 66 cm of diameter is not varnished, however, it exists exactly like the hollow behind it of high-grade steel!

The cutting table likewise has a surface made of high-grade steel, is protected from below, however, by highly wear-resistant plastic skids. Of course it is variable in the length, the patented guidance about the telescopic tube allows even a shifting area of unbelievable 80 centimeters. Thus the distance can be changed between move snail and knife beam between 25 and 105 cm.

However, this is not enough: BISO added to the header a hydraulic adjustment for the angle of attack! This sits directly in the sloping sponsor-admission and does up to 50 mm of way! With it the minimally possible cut height with drawn table amounts to 6 cm, with delivered cutting table 11 cm.

The knife with screwed blades is divided in the middle and runs in milled guidances. The impulse occurs from both sides about normal oil bath gears with pendulum heave.

Really interesting it becomes once again with the windlass! On one hand, it is not concentric, but is divided at the side not to hinder the view of the driver. On the other hand, searching a lateral impulse is in vain - BISO has (patented likewise) developed an impulse with which an oil engine drives a gear rim (as a starter in the flywheel of the engine) in the central pipe. The whole is not only completely free of compress, but there are also no other impulse elements like strap, chains or similar.
